President Donald Trump is finishing the protection of the United States Secret Service for the adult children of former President Joe Biden.
Trump made the announcement on his conservative social networks platform on Monday night.
Earlier on Monday, while traveling the Kennedy center in Washington, DC, a journalist asked Trump about the security detail assigned to Hunter Biden while on vacation in South Africa.
“That will be something I will see this afternoon. Ok. I just heard it for the first time,” Trump replied. Its social publication of the truth came hours after the exchange.
Shortly after its inauguration, Trump revoked the protection of the secret service for John Bolton, Mike Pompeo and Mark Milley, despite the threats against their lives of Iran due to his work in the first Trump administration. He also eliminated the security detail assigned to Dr. Anthony Fauci, who faced threats to the federal response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
“When you have protection, you can’t have it for the rest of your life,” Trump told journalists at that time.
The presidents, the vice presidents and their families receive protection of the secret service during their time in office.

The former presidents and their spouses can maintain their details for the rest of their lives after leaving office, unless they choose to reject it. The Federal Law also provides security to former presidents up to 16 years, although outgoing presidents can extend it. Hunter Biden is 55 years old and Ashley Biden is 43 years old.
When Trump left office after the 2020 elections, his four adult children and his two spouses received protection of the secret service for six additional months.
Before leaving office, Joe Biden issued a controversial forgiveness for his son for fiscal evasion and federal arms charges. ABC News recently reported that Hunter Biden is now in debt and without a permanent home, according to judicial documents.
In addition, Hunter Biden remains the objective of Republican attacks, including Trump’s criticism and vice president JD Vance.
