When Jay O’Brien of ABC News asked him if the president was guilty of higher prices, Johnson replied that the public should not doubt the president’s vision.
Despite predicting a “rocky” beginning for tariffs on Tuesday, Johnson described the reciprocal tariffs of the president “common sense” and said he believes that people will join.
“I think that most Americans understand that it is not just what has been done to the United States, and you needed a president strong enough to call that and restart,” he said.
